RFID Product Overview

The "other type" of automatic identification uses radio waves to read and write data to a label, tag, chip, etc. There are active and passive components. Active components have their own power supply, either through batteries or a connection to higher-level power sources. Passive systems are powered solely by induction via the radio waves from the read/write device antennas. This results in significant differences in the distance between the component and the reader when the systems communicate. Furthermore, various radio frequencies are available, in the LF (low frequency 125 kHz), HF (high frequency 13.56 MHz), and UHF (ultra high frequency ~900 MHz) ranges.

Since RFID is a complex technology solution that requires significant adaptation to each specific project, on this page we're only listing a small selection of the most common products. If you're interested in this solution, we'd be happy to advise you and work with you to develop the optimal RFID system for your applications.
