Currently, there's no dedicated mobile label printer using thermal transfer technology available for use on industrial trucks, in trucks, or other vehicles. This presents a significant gap for operations that require durable, long-lasting labels in mobile environments.

We Listened to Our Customers and Developed a Solution:

For years, we've successfully sold our in-house developed forklift mounts for label printers from manufacturers like TSC and Zebra. Now, in early 2025, we've taken a significant step forward by partnering with the Swedish company Brodit. This collaboration means our optimized Mobile Printer Mount is now also directly available from Brodit, a leading manufacturer of mounting solutions. This partnership ensures professional and secure placement of your label printer on a wide range of industrial trucks and other mobile equipment.

Innovationspreis-IT 2016 for the Mobile Printer Base from LAUBNER

The Laubner MobilePrinterBase received the Innovationspreis-IT 2016 (IT Innovation Award 2016) in the Hardware category. This award is presented by the "Initiative Mittelstand" (SME Initiative) to recognize exceptionally innovative IT solutions that offer significant benefits for small and medium-sized enterprises.

The Mobile Printer Mount is suitable for various 4-inch wide printers. These printers can be integrated into your company network either directly via a USB interface to a forklift terminal or through a dedicated WLAN client. The stability and reliability of this solution have been proven over years through numerous installations.

LAUBNER Printhead Heater for Use in Cold Storage

In some applications, it's essential to operate a thermal printer in extreme cold. Often, these printers are needed in unheated warehouses or even deep-freeze storage, where temperatures can drop as low as -30°C. However, standard printers only work reliably down to about 5°C.

For precisely this requirement, we've developed our own solution

We offer a modification with a printhead heater for various thermal printer models. The heating modules we use automatically regulate the temperature, ensuring that the printer is never undercooled or overheated, especially when used in changing environments or weather conditions. Our most demanding installation to date involves several Zebra 220XiIII printers operating at -26°C in the cold storage facility of a retail group. These printers produce picking slips on thermal paper, controlled by SAP.
