Unparalleled Efficiency

The RFD40 sled outperforms competitor devices, boasting a read speed of over 1,300 tags per second (up to 30% faster than the direct competitor model), a read range of over 6 m (19.7 ft), and a highly precise item-finder mode. Thanks to a 7,000 mAh quick-release battery (without needing to remove the mobile computer), it can stay in operation for hours. The three-function trigger allows employees to quickly access RFID capture, barcode scanning, and a programmable third function, such as an enter key or push-to-talk.

No Host? No Problem!

If a real-time connection to backend systems isn't available, batch mode enables the capture of up to 40,000 RFID tags. Simply synchronize to upload the data from the RFD40 sled to the host device.

Proven Durability

Zebra devices enable reliable daily use. The RFD40 sled offers a maximum drop specification of 1.5 m (5 ft) to concrete and a tumble specification of 500 tumbles from 0.5 m (1.6 ft), which simulates real-world post-drop scenarios. It features IP54 sealing for dust and splash protection, as well as an extended operating temperature range from -10 °C to 50 °C (14 °F to 122 °F). This ruggedness ensures that the RFD40 sled will meet the high demands of your operations.

Our charging solutions for the RFD40 sled offer versatile power delivery for both the sled and your mobile computer. Each docking cradle features two sets of charging pins, allowing you to charge the RFD40 sled or the mobile computer individually, or both simultaneously when they're connected. We offer cradles for every combination of the RFD40 sled and compatible mobile computers, including the Zebra TC21 / TC26 and EC50/55.
