New features include eSIM and future-proof wireless communication capabilities for mobile work on the go. Thanks to increased performance, doubled RAM, and more storage, the new rugged tablet is ideal for users who need access to CAD applications and schematics while in the field. The improved screen brightness ensures good visibility in bright environments, while its classification as a Microsoft Secured-Core PC promises enhanced business-level security. Additional slots for expansion modules increase flexibility and user-friendliness. If needed, these can accommodate contact smartcard readers and contactless smartcard readers, among other options. There are also three customizable quick-access buttons on the front bezel of the display.
TOUGHBOOK G2 available with standard or Quick Release SSD
The Quick Release SSD model is designed for data-sensitive sectors such as emergency services, police, and defense. The device can be equipped with an optional backlit keyboard that also offers a USB Type-A and a Type-C port.
With its modular expansion options and an extensive range of accessories, the new tablet can be precisely adapted to the requirements of various operational areas. These include, among other things, vehicle mounts with or without a keyboard, hand straps, shoulder straps, and disinfectable cases.
