The WT6400 is dustproof, waterproof, and built to withstand the inevitable daily bumps and drops. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 makes the touchscreen, one of the most vital and sensitive components, scratch- and shatter-resistant.
Crucially, the WT6400 is the only device in its class designed for cold storage use, featuring a battery suitable for temperatures down to -30 °C (-22 °F). It has also undergone drop tests across the entire temperature range, which is essential for cold environments where plastic can become brittle at low temperatures.
Supporting Keyboard-Based Applications with an Optional Keyboard
Just like its predecessor, the WT6400 is optionally available with a keyboard. Located below the display, this keyboard has been specially designed to be suitable for both right and left-handed users. Particular attention was paid to the optimal size and spacing of the keys, allowing for effortless manual data entry even with thick gloves.
