Skorpio X5 XLR: Longest Scan Range
The innovative 2D imager Extra-Long-Range (XLR), specifically developed for the Skorpio X5, captures codes in the shortest time. It reads from distances of up to 20 meters as well as from short range—even damaged, dirty, and poorly printed codes through shrink wrap and forklift windshields.
Even greater Range: The XLR (Extra-Long-Range) imager for long and short distances is one of four scanning options available for the Skorpio X5. Besides this innovative 2D imager, you can also choose a Linear Imager, a Standard 2D Imager, and a Mid-Range Imager. This means the powerful scan engines of the Skorpio X5 offer the widest available range of reading distances.

The Skorpio X5 is a fully rugged Portable Data Terminal (PDT), designed for the harshest environments thanks to its IP65 protection class and ability to withstand repeated 1.80 m (6 ft) drops onto concrete.
For the Skorpio X5, you have the choice between a fully contactless device with state-of-the-art 15-watt wireless charging technology or a version with a Pogo-Pin connector that also allows Ethernet connectivity within the Skorpio cradle. The contactless version includes Datalogic's industry-first wireless charging system, which provides extremely reliable charging and eliminates maintenance issues that can arise from contacts.
